At Guardian Home Energy, we believe making your home comfortable and energy-efficient should also be affordable. That’s why we help homeowners navigate the various tax credits and rebate programs available to maximize your savings.
For residents in California and Colorado, there are significant tax credits available to help make your home more energy-efficient. These valuable opportunities may not be available next year, so we encourage you to act now to take advantage.
Additionally, homeowners in Colorado can benefit from valuable rebates offered through Xcel Energy. Please note that these rebates are often on a first-come, first-served basis, and once the funds are fully distributed, the offers will no longer be available.
Maximize Your Savings with Guardian Home Energy: Our expertise extends beyond installation to helping you leverage these valuable financial programs. We’re committed to ensuring you get top dollar for your investment, often allowing for significant home improvements with little to no out-of-pocket expense.

Solar customers are entitled to a 30% Federal tax credit. Insulation customers receive 10% of the cost of materials up to a maximum of $500. For this reason we technically “sell” our insulation to customers and provide labor at no charge. For solar customers we offer, as an alternative to a discount, to throw in free insulation, which allows the customer to receive a 30% tax credit on every dollar they spend.
Guardian Home Energy makes investing in your home’s energy efficiency accessible. We can help you secure a Colorado Residential Energy Upgrade (RENU) Loan, a state-sponsored program offering low-interest, fixed-rate loans from $500 to $75,000. With no money down and up to 100% project financing available for insulation and solar improvements, RENU loans offer terms up to 20 years with no prepayment penalties. As an approved RENU contractor, we’ll guide you through the application process so you can make your home more energy-efficient, comfortable, and lower your utility bills.
